This home is the direct result of a chef and interior designer couple’s dreams. From the Italian glass tile backsplash in the kitchen to the floating sink in the powder room and the many details in between, this lakefront home is filled with custom features that truly demonstrate the clients’ passion for fine finishes.
This house is also Energy Star rated and nearly maintenance free on the exterior; both priorities for the homeowners. The exterior walls facing the lake were sprayed with closed cell foam insulation to battle the fierce lake winds and to ensure that the house is air-tight. And because the house is so well sealed, an HRV system was installed to help it ventilate properly.
The concept for the upper deck facing the lake was developed after the original porch was built and will be complete in the spring of 2009.
