These counters were built for our own house and were a bit more of a challenge than any we had done in the past. One counter was 18’ long and had to be separated into two pieces in order to maneuver it into the house. We built a form that was the length of the counter, but with a thin piece of metal in the middle to break it up. We filled the space between the two finished pieces with grout of a similar color. We can’t wait to tackle the island this summer!
